Ian  Pidgen is a highly experienced Business Continuity Consultant who has over 25 years experience in Crisis Management. He has worked with a wide range of organisations both nationally and internationally, identifying and mitigating hazards and protecting key staff from unnecessary risk.  His calm, professional approach has guided many organisations through major incidents and has enabled them to maintain their critical activities.

He has excellent presentation skills and uses a lively mix of his own real life case studies together with pragmatic, practical advice. He has worked extensively in the finance, aviation and healthcare sectors.

He previously worked for The National Crime Squad where his role was to advise companies who had suffered criminal attacks, product contaminations and kidnapping of senior executives.

He has also held key posts throughout the Avon and Somerset Constabulary, including the Criminal Investigation Department and as a Critical Incident Manager in central Bristol.

Ian is a member of the Business Continuity Institute and holds a Diploma in Business Continuity Management from Coventry University.
